Stress Management

Stress Management

At the Richmont Trauma Center, we recognize that stress affects both the mind and body. Chronic stress can lead to physical tension, headaches, sleep disturbances, and a sense of being constantly on edge. High levels of stress for a long period of time is a painful way to live. Our clinicians incorporate somatic approaches, alongside other evidence-based modalities, to help clients become more aware of the physical sensations that accompany stress and develop tools to manage them. Through a combination of mindfulness, body-centered techniques, and stress-reduction strategies, we support individuals in finding ways to navigate life’s pressures with greater resilience and balance.
