Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP)

Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) is a transformative, attachment-based therapy that helps individuals heal from trauma and emotional pain by tapping into the power of emotion and the healing potential of safe, attuned relationships. Rooted in neuroscience and emotion theory, AEDP gently guides clients through difficult experiences toward deep emotional processing and lasting change.

Rather than focusing only on what’s not working, AEDP is oriented toward resilience, growth, and the innate capacity for healing. At the Richmont Trauma Center, our AEDP-trained clinicians work with individuals to access core emotions, process them in a supportive environment, and build new, life-giving patterns of connection—with themselves and others.
