Pre-Licensed Professional
I am passionate about helping individuals find healing, clarity, and resilience through life’s challenges. Before pursuing counseling, I spent 12 formative years living abroad in countries including Italy, Turkey, France, and Spain. These experiences deeply shaped my worldview, allowing me to develop cultural sensitivity, emotional adaptability, and an open-minded approach to human connection. Living within a variety of languages, customs, and belief systems instilled in me a profound appreciation for the complexity and richness of each person’s story—something I now carry into every therapeutic relationship.
Education and Training
I am a student at Richmont Graduate University pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling; My degree is to be completed May 2026 with hopes to pursue a specialization in trauma. I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Health Sciences with a minor in Psychology from Clayton State University.
About Maranda
Basketball has also been a central part of my life since the age of 11. I played competitively and went on to compete at the collegiate level at Clayton State University. An unexpected injury ultimately shifted the trajectory of my life—but in that redirection, I discovered a deeper calling: to walk alongside others in their pain, just as I had to navigate my own. That moment of loss opened the door to my passion for counseling.
Whether you’re facing a season of crisis, seeking greater self-awareness, or looking for a supportive space to process your experiences, I am here to journey with you. I deeply respect the courage it takes to begin therapy—and I count it a privilege to be part of your healing process.
