Specializations

Throughout my career, I’ve seen how vital it is for me to continually expand my knowledge and skills to help others hold the parts of their lives that feel messy, broken, or tender.  This desire to provide excellent, compassionate care is what led me to pursue a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling.

Clinical Mental Health Counselor

As a counselor with over 16 years of ministry experience, I am well acquainted with entering another’s suffering and engaging relationship complexity.  I count it a profound privilege to step into the intricacies of peoples’ lives, offering support when they feel stuck, confused, or hurt. My work as a mental health counselor is deeply rooted in my passion for understanding each person’s unique story and providing intentional, compassionate care. I integrate both insight-oriented and behavioral counseling approaches to ensure thoughtful, holistic therapy. By exploring past experiences and uncovering underlying patterns, I help clients gain deeper self-awareness, while also offering practical strategies to address current challenges and create lasting change.  I have extensive experience serving college students, young professionals, and cross-cultural workers, and I especially enjoy helping clients integrate their faith into therapy.  I hold a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Richmont Graduate University and I have also completed additional training through the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation.  I am under the clinical supervision of Dr. Dan Sartor, Ph.D., LPC, ACS.

I see clients in-person at our office on Tuesdays from 8:30am-7pm, and I offer virtual sessions at 7am and 5pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  Other virtual session times may be available upon request.

About Caitlin

Throughout my ministry and counseling careers, I have worn many hats.  Relationship-building, teaching, training, coaching, supervising, and strategic planning, among others.  Yet the role that has always felt the most meaningful has been sitting down with someone and seeking to understand their story.  I consider it my highest honor to wade into the nuances of someone’s life, holding their experiences with reverence and hope, no matter how messy, broken, or tender they may feel.  It would be my privilege to come alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth.
