Emma brings a calm and connecting warmth to the therapy room, creating a safe atmosphere where you can feel comfortable processing your concerns. She believes that each of us have unique and complex stories that revolve around the important relationships in our lives. Exploring these stories can often feel overwhelming, so Emma cultivates an empathic space that invites you into deeper understanding of yourself, and those around you. She believes that by naming and understanding our stories—both past and present— we can find greater compassion, empathy, and healing.
Clinical Mental Health Counselor
Emma’s clear and compassionate approach to therapy aims to empower you on your journey toward emotional and relational health. She uses therapy approaches that increase coping skills and emotional awareness, strengthen emotional bonds in important relationships, and create direction for your continued growth after therapy finishes. Your work with Emma could be brief and focus on a few distinct issues, or it could be longer-term and focus on processing deeper concerns. When “just trying to get by” feels so familiar, doing something different can feel scary. Asking for help can be the first step toward believing that healing is possible.
