Working with those in the helping professions
Bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Georgia
Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Richmont Graduate University
Throughout my career, I’ve seen how vital it is for me to continually expand my knowledge and skills to help others hold the parts of their lives that feel messy, broken, or tender. This desire to provide excellent, compassionate care is what led me to pursue a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling.
Foundations of Biblical Counseling certificate from the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation.
Story Sage workshop from the Allender Center.
M.A., B.S.
With 15+ years of working in the helping profession, I am well acquainted with entering another’s suffering and engaging relationship complexity. It is a great privilege to come alongside those who feel stuck, confused, or hurt. I aim to be a steady, engaged, compassionate presence, offering intentional, thoughtful support to each client. I love collaborating with clients to discern the path toward growth that is right for them, letting each story take its own unique shape. It is a significant act of courage to reach out, ask for help, and invite someone into your story. I would be honored to join you as you pursue growth, healing, and health.
Clinical Mental Health Counselor
Through my fifteen-year career in ministry, I have worn many hats. Relationship-building, teaching, training, counseling, coaching, supervising, and strategic planning, among others. Yet the role that has always felt the most meaningful has been sitting down with someone and seeking to understand their story. It is an extraordinary privilege to wade into the nuances of someone’s life, holding what we find with reverence and hope. Whether in joy, sorrow, or confusion, I love helping others take steps toward growth and health. I chose to pursue a master's in counseling to become better equipped to help people flourish.
