Jessica Chong
M.A., AMFT
Specializations
I work with individuals and families across a wide age range, from preteens (11+) through adults. My therapeutic style is collaborative and integrative, drawing from person-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, attachment-based family therapy, mindfulness practices, and narrative therapy. I’m also trained in Brainspotting, a brain and body-based approach that helps process trauma stored in the nervous system. For younger clients and those who benefit from creative outlets, I incorporate play and expressive interventions to support healing beyond words.

Clinical Mental Health Counselor
Hey, I’m Jessica (or Jess!), and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) offering personalized, compassionate, and trauma-informed care. My approach integrates evidence-based practices with holistic brain- and body-based interventions to create the safe and secure relationship where meaningful healing can unfold.
I view therapy as a sacred space where your story can be shared, witnessed, and honored without judgement. Through the experience of being seen, heard, and understood, you can begin to feel a sense of safety that allows you to process, heal, and grow. Together, we will uncover your inner strength and resilience so that you can feel more grounded, authentic, and empowered in meeting life’s challenges.
My therapeutic approach recognizes that healing happens not just through insight, but through new experiences within a trusting relationship. Sometimes that means slowing down when you want to speed up, or sitting with difficult emotions rather than rushing past them. I believe you are the expert of your own life while I bring expertise in guiding the healing process. Together, we will explore your story with curiosity and compassion, helping you develop the inner resources to not just survive life’s storms, but to thrive through them.
Education and Training
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University, and I am licensed as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in Georgia. I have completed advanced training in Brainspotting (Phase 1 and 2) and Attachment-Based Family Therapy (Phase 1 and 2). I am committed to lifelong learning and continually pursue specialized training to best serve my clients.
